Orthopaedic Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is about helping you move, feel, and function better in your day-to-day life. At Driftwood Health Clinic, our approach goes beyond treating a single injury or area of pain, we take the time to understand the bigger picture of your health so we can support you in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.

Your care begins with a thorough assessment, where we listen to your story, explore your symptoms, and look at how your body is moving as a whole. From there, we work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals; whether that’s returning to activity, managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, or simply feeling more comfortable in your body.

Treatment may include a combination of hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization and soft tissue work, along with guided exercise and movement strategies to help improve strength, mobility, and overall function. When appropriate, we may also incorporate additional tools like laser, cupping or other modalities to support healing and pain relief.

We place a strong emphasis on education and collaboration. Our goal is not only to help you feel better, but to help you understand your body, build confidence in your movement, and feel supported in your recovery.

Physiotherapy can support a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Back, neck, and joint pain (shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, foot etc.)

  • Sports and activity-related injuries

  • Postural tension and movement limitations

  • Arthritis and chronic conditions

  • Recovery from injury, surgery, or periods of stress on the body

  • Headaches

  • TMJ (jaw) pain

  • Sciatic Nerve Pain

  • Repetitive strain injuries

At Driftwood, physiotherapy is about more than rehabilitation; it’s about helping you move -or flow- through whatever you’re experiencing with clarity, support, and a plan forward.
